Shanghai Sorrento Medical Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech company founded by Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: SRNE), located in Xiangyun Science Park, Jiading District, Shanghai. We focus on the research, design, manufacture, and sale of hyperthermia systems that treat cancer effectively and non-invasively. Our R & D team in Sorrento Therapeutics – Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Research Center possess talented postdocs and PhDs who share a common goal - to improve oncological treatments from both the study of mechanisms of biophysical therapy and the development of modern hyperthermia systems, providing a close  integration platform for international medical advancements while meeting domestic market demands.

Shanghai Sorrento Medical Technology Co., Ltd. works closely with the U.S. National Cancer Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, and Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. in the United States. We possess unique physical-targeted and bio-targeted tumor treatment technologies, which can accurately mark tumors or cancer cells and implement precise treatment with biophysical methods. Our KF series hyperthermia systems have all independent intellectual property rights. This series of products use electromagnetic waves with certain frequency and dynamic power to heat tumor tissue or metastatic cancer cells from a non-contact distance. The high-frequency electromagnetic waves can destroy the structure of cancer cells, change the tumor microenvironment, improve the effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, reduce the toxic side effects of chemotherapy, and enhance human immunity. It is an outstanding technology innovation for cancer treatments.

Our mission is to develop therapeutic approaches that extend and enhance cancer patients’ lives, either by reducing the malignancy of life-threatening tumors, improving the safety of current treatments, or by bringing novel solutions to make living with cancer more tolerable.

Our mission: to conquer cancer, to innovate for human welfare, and to build better lives together.
